Reviving this old thread to see if I and Oden(?) are the only ones still waiting for their stimulus payment.  It's September, now, and there's still no sign of it.

I finally gave in and phoned the IRS 800 number in the various articles about people who still haven't got their checks a couple of weeks ago, and the recording on the phone made it abundantly clear before you are ever put on with a human being that the human does not have access to information about my particular payment information.  She was only able to answer general questions, and they are limited in what they're allowed to say.  But she did say that if I get "status not available" or "need more information" (or whatever that message is), then I am being found in the system so my information I'm inputting is correct, but they genuinely have not go to a large number of people yet.  I asked if there was a rough idea of when they hoped to have sent all of the payments out, and she said end-of-October was the official line, but she has had several target dates come and go, and she advised that if I didn't have my payment by the end of the year, there would be instructions on how to claim it as a credit on my 2020 tax return so at the latest, I'd get it summer 2021.  It's a good thing I'm not relying on this money to survive a pandemic!  (That's meant to be lighthearted, because I have the luxury of viewing this stimulus as a bonus.  However, it's not really funny because I'm not the only one who is still waiting and some of those people *REALLY* need the money... I'm so sad for them.)

Anyway... anybody else here still waiting?

I had a bank do that to me when I changed banks... I didn't realize it was a thing.  It was a checking account with a monthly fee on it, though.  I thought I'd left about $60 in there when I opened a new account at a new bank with more convenient locations to me, and I meant to collect that leftover balance later but sort of forgot about it.  Then one day randomly, I learned that the account was in the red and I was being charged an insufficient funds fee.  When I looked back over the statements and saw what happened I was livid.  I got them to agree to disagree on the matter.  I didn't have to pay them the fee, but that small balance I thought I was just being lazy about was gone.  *grr*

I'm sorry you're still waiting for your stimulus, too.  But on the other hand, yay!  I'm not alone!

Aww, it wasn't us, I'm afraid.  :(  Now that he has been called back to work after a few months off (with pay!), he is sooo keen to retire.  He really got a taste for what my life is like, and he would've loved a big win so he can go back to having all his time free again.  But instead, he got £25 again, like he does virtually every month.  (Meanwhile, I didn't win.  Again.  He has a lot more bonds than I have, though, so that's probably why he always wins something and I have only won once since I invested.)
