I noticed that Daver's link is to a South African site ... where they have an interest in such vehicles.  Somehow I think such high security (for those of you who haven't followed the link, it looks like a minature securicor van) vehicles aren't needed in Guildford, Wiltshire, Cardiff or Edinburgh!

Your point about the name is a good one, Tebs; car companies have made some major gaffs in coming up with vehicle names that fit in all around the world. I recall a story of a vehicle that didn' sell well in Spain ... then someone pointed out thst the name meant "does not work" in Spanish.

Yep, that car was  a 'Nova',, but  in Spanish, no va, ,means no go,,,lmao. They only renamed it for the Spanish markets, but it was still a crap car,,lol.
