Still nothing. I’m going to email my MP tomorrow and see if they even have an acknowledgement from the Home Office. They did say they’d keep me updated with any communication they receive and they’ve been really on the ball about it.

At this point, I think the Home Office just don’t care. Or, the caseworker’s ex was American and has this grudge against all Americans and therefore likes to be a jerk towards all Americans they encounter. I’m beyond fed up.

Thank you all for your words of encouragement.  :)

I'VE BEEN APPROVED!!!  I am sobbing like a baby right now!!! I can't believe it!!!

Everyone, thank you so much for your kinds words of support during this really enduring point in my life. I was very close to my relative who passed away, and I know that they'd be very angry to see all that I went through so I could get to the US for their funeral. I really wouldn't be surprised if they haunted the Home Office!

Again, thank you again for all of your support during this time. You all have been amazing.

Thank you! After a very busy day of making phone calls and getting a my covid test done, I’ll be headed over on Saturday. I booked a flexible fare and I’ll spend three weeks there (still furloughed, so may as well make the most of it). My husband said he’ll FedEx me my BRP so I have it for my flight back to England.

I’m absolutely over the moon this is over!
