Hi gang... i would be interested to see if anyone agrees with me, simply because i can't really trust my taste buds. I visit the US so infrequently (hopefully 2022, though!) that i think i remember how things taste, but never really sure.
Anyway, i saw (in Morrisons, i think) Jus-Roll Tear & Share bread and thought it sounded good.
It sat in my fridge for weeks, and then one day i fancied a burger but we had no bread or buns, but i thought the tear and share bread might make a good substitute.
So i opened the pack and thought... these look like Pillsbury biscuits in a tube. I baked it without the garlic butter that comes with it, and after they'd cooked and i tasted it, i thought they actually tasted like Pillsbury biscuits in a tube! Not the premium 'Grands' biscuits, but just the standard smaller ones... not sure if they make the ordinary ones anymore, but if you were around in the 70's, you'll know what i mean.
Am i deluding myself? Anyone tried these?
