A few questions about FLR (M)
« on: June 10, 2021, 01:09:43 PM »
Feeling cautiously confident about having a successful spousal visa well over 2 years ago, I am about to apply for my FLR(M) and have a few questions.

1) I know we scan all the pages of our passports, and have done so.  My husbands Tenancy Agreement is 39 pages long, I assume I scan and send all 39 pages?  Do not mind the tedium, just want to make sure I am not oversending.

2) When I did the spousal visa, I have my husband print and sign a Sponsor’s Declaration, is this the form I need for the FLR(M)?
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/sponsor-a-visa-applicant-form-su07

3) Is this the website in which I start the process of the online application for my FLR(m)?
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apply-to-extend-stay-in-the-uk-as-a-partner-or-dependent-child-form-flrm/apply-online-form-flr-m

Thank you so much in advanced, I will be posting a document checklist later this month if that is alright?

Yes, you should scan all pages of all your documents.

No, that form is not required for either a spousal visa or an FLR(M) visa.

The SU07 form is only for special circumstances visa applications made outside the U.K., namely elderly dependant visas and adult dependant visas, where the applicant is incapable of working or taking care of themselves and relies on the U.K. sponsor for 100% financial and physical support (I.e. feeding, bathing, getting dressed, moving around)... for example, they are an elderly parent or disabled child over 18 who needs round-the-clock care and has no means of support in their home country.

So, actually you did not need to include the SU07 form for the spousal visa as it did not apply to you.

For FLR(M), there are 3 forms which are part of the online application which need to be printed, signed and scanned:
- Part 1 Consent to Checks form signed by the applicant
- Part 2 Consent to Checks form signed by the sponsor
- sponsor declaration signed by the sponsor

Yes, that’s the correct form.

Yes, that is exactly what we recommend you do :).

If you can keep all your posts and questions about your application in this thread, that is also helpful for us, as all your information will be in one place :).

Cool, thank you, I will definitely stick to this thread.  I think I found the Part 1 & 2 Consent forms, could you just check to make sure these are the right ones?

Not sure if this is the sponsor declaration, I just want to make sure I print the correct forms.

Sorry to be a bother, but we do not have a printer at home, so I am trying to get everything ready to try and not be caught unawares.  If there is anything else that I need to print and scan, please let me know.  Thank you again so much.

I’m afraid I don’t know if those are the right forms or not. They might be, but I’m not sure as I haven’t seen them before.

You will be instructed on which forms to fill out when you complete the online application... and the application form should link you to the right ones.
