Visa payment

I'm in hell . I cannot get my visa application payment to go through. There is nothing wrong with my card ,  it's whatever service the government is using to processes payments is not working.
 i don't know what to do. I have to apply within within 2 weeks. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm trying to contact the Home Office but that it's taking forever

Visa Priority or Non Priority: Non Priority
Office Location Processing Visa: New York
Application Submitted Online: 26 Oct 2018
Bio-metrics Taken: 30 Oct 2018
Documents sent: 1 Nov 2018
Documents received at New York UKVI Scanning Hub: 2 Nov 2018
Documents arrived in Sheffield: 10 Dec 2018
Email stating "Your Application is currently being prepared for consideration by an ECO": 14 Dec 2018
Decision Made Email: 21 Jan 2019. 55 wd from bio
Visa rec'd: 23 Jan 2019 57 WD

Have you been in touch with your bank? It's really common for the charge to be refused at first, happens automatically for security.
If you have no other cards to use, your partner can use one of theirs.

Have you tried a different browser, or clearing your cookies? Those can also help.

I had to attach my credit card to my paypal account to get it to work. Of course, my credit card called it a cash advance

That doesn't seem right, you're paying for a service not receiving cash. Probably too late now but I might have questioned that.

Absolutely! Paid a fair bit of interest penalty for that, but overall.....she was worth it

Solved! Used a different card, which had me calling America. Now, to find out where to put the access code for  UKVCAS! Many thanks 😘
