After being rejected by AJ Bell for being a USC, I'll ask you fine lot.  Does anybody know of a platform for USC/dual citizens resident in the UK who want to invest in individual UK stocks (no funds!) via a Stocks and Shares ISA?

No help here I'm afraid, I've not bought any stocks in the UK, but am mildly surprised that AJ Bell are not wanting to mess with FATCA reporting issues, and associated costs.  It is so much easier and cheaper for financial institutions to comply with FATCA by simply not allowing any USCs to hold accounts so unless they feel that they are losing a significant amount of business they are unlikely to move on this.

I am away from my computer now and don't remember where I left off with them, but I think they were the one I couldn't actually get the registration page to submit (I tried three different browsers).  It's surprisingly hard to give people my money!

Does this mean you're all set?  I'm envious.  I just keep watching the share price and being sad.

Kind of wish I'd got more now! But hey, it's a gamble!
