Lost BRP

I have lived in the UK for almost 4 years now, and after my 2nd approval I seem to have lost my BRP card. When you go online to request a new one they ask for £75 which is fine, but then they ask that I attend another Biometrics appointment which is another £115.
Is this true?
Do I really need to go through all this just to get it re-printed?

Just looking to see if anyone else has gone through this recently...

Yeah, they have to match the fingerprints and photo to make sure it’s really you. 

Also takes FOREVER to process (not that it really matters right now).  I’d turn your house upside down and make sure you can’t find it.
