Letters from Myself and Family Friends for FLR (M)

We have our documents ready (except for one we are waiting on). We had a lawyer go over our items and said we are missing letters from ourselves detailing our relationship (not the family declaration or partner declaration) as well as letters from family and friends saying our partnership is genuine since we are unmarried. In our first application, my partner did provide a short statement, but I did not provide one. We also did not provide letters from family and friends and I don't see this as a requirement.

Am I missing something? If so, how many family and friends letters should we include and from whom?

None of that is required... and it sounds like your lawyer has no idea what they are talking about.

UKVI are not allowed to consider letters from any family or friends... so even if you included them they would not be looked at.

You prove you meet the unmarried partners requirement by providing your 2 years of cohabitation documents. That’s it.

In terms of a letter from the sponsor, they provide a Sponsor’s Declaration as part of the online application form which your partner just needs to print, sign and upload with the rest of the documents.

That’s what I thought.

Are drawn signatures from Adobe PDF acceptable on the family declaration and the partner’s declaration? (I imagine so as they are genuine signatures, just want to double check.)
