I know it was awhile ago now, but the qualifying criteria hasn’t changed since I used SET(LR) way back in the dark ages of 2015: I didn’t need to prove that I met my Tier 2 general visa conditions. I suspect it would have been a different matter if my employer had reported to them that I no longer worked there. I guess the FLR (M) equivalent would be if your partner had reported the relationship had broken down (as they’re meant to when a relationship breaks down) and then you applied for SET (LR) after your curtailment period ended…
But your visa hasn’t been curtailed because your partner hasn’t reported a relationship breakdown because you’re still in a relationship!
I’d be applying the second you get back after Christmas. No point adding to your stress of ‘will I get the docs back in time’ etc… I think you’re cutting it a bit fine if you don’t already have an appt booked for like, yesterday. I know that’s two months away and two months can mean something in the infertility world, but it’s peace of mind know you can go on your trip.
Good luck.
