Travel to USA

Hi all, just checking as getting myself confused. Travelling to USA from uk in a couple weeks, my daughters have dual citizenship, US husband with ILR and I’m UK citizen (I have an ESTA). What do we need in terms of testing and Covid documents for travelling there and back now? Thank you!

In regards to COVID testing/documentation, as far as I am aware, nothing is required anymore.

This means that as of 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, all air passengers, regardless of citizenship or vaccination status, are no longer required to show a negative viral COVID-19 test result, or documentation of recovery from COVID-19, before boarding a flight to the United States.

I believe you will still need to show vaccination status to enter the US though:

From the link above, your daughter is a USC so will be allowed in.

If you’re not fully vaccinated
Only those with an exception or US Citizens, US Nationals, and US Lawful Permanent Residents will be able to enter the US unvaccinated. More details are on the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and US Embassy websites, which includes a list of exceptions from the vaccination requirements for certain categories of non-citizens and non-immigrants.

If you’ve had COVID-19 in the past year
If you’re not fully vaccinated but have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last year you still cannot enter the USA unless you meet one of the exceptions detailed on the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and US Embassy websites.

Only non-citizens need proof of vaccination, which is yourself as a UK citizen.

Dual citizens are treated as purely US citizens regarding travelling to the states.

So that's the only thing you need: ESTA, proof of vaccination (which you can get from NHS app).
