Ordering Wendy’s tonight

I’ve never ordered anything from Uber eats before because my wife is dead against it and there’s something that seems wrong about ordering fast food for delivery.  BUT, she’s out of town it appears that Wendy’s has some kind of black kitchen about a mile from my house!  Supposedly they will deliver a burger and a frosty to my door.  To much to ask?  Anyone else done this?

Amazing!  Not a huge Wendy’s fan but if Taco Bell delivered, I’d be HUGE!

Nice! We walked by the Wendy's in Reading after a comedy show but it was closed at the time. I don't really trust asking anyone to drive today, it's a bit breezy still.

Can’t believe Wendy’s opened a black kitchen within walking distance of my house!

We ordered tonight and picked it up.  Amazing.

Apparently they have black grocery stores as well, where the delivery orders are picked.  Especially for the grocery delivery businesses like Getir.  There was another shipping container around the corner that had a kitchen where they made up orders for several other resteraunts like Coco di Mama. 

I read today that Uber loses something like 200 million per year.  Unbelievable.

I had no idea about that either. According to Statistica they lost money 4 out of 5 times between 2016 and 2020

Seemed to be pretty genuine, especially the frostie was spot on.  Drinks were limited to cans of coke and I bet a lot of random sides were missing.  No salads. 

It’s been many years since I went to a real Wendy’s though.

I had a Wendys burger the last time i went to visit my parents.  I thought it was wonderful... and then they introduced me to Whataburger!  OMG, Whataburger is amazing, especially the cheeseburger with the green hatch chillies on it!!!

It was the spicy chicken sandwich. It was always my favourite. It used to be a really big piece of tasty, crispy chicken and then they shrank the size of it and it is just meh. I'll always like the taste of their actual burgers.
