ILR Document Requirement
« on: April 03, 2022, 06:44:58 PM »
Good Evening,

Im currently working through my ILR checklist and I was wondering if all supporting documents need to be originals still? I have my original bank statements but some of my evidence (example: phone bill, council tax) are online. I can currently download them to PDF but I cant find anywhere that says I can or cannot use a dowloaded PDF.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes, they do.

Because of Covid, they have made some things a little easier such as accepting digitally signed letters if it has been impossible to obtain wet signatures but other than that, it's just the same.

Your correspondence evidence must have been physically posted to your house for it to count. The same rules for bank statements and payslips apply as before so original/stamped by the bank/accompanied by a letter of authentication.
