Thank you for all of the help on this thread!

Any advice on getting a super priority appointment? We tried from 12:55-1:50am night before last and midnight-2am last night with no dice.

I applied on May 21 around 5pm and Super Priority was available.  So perhaps try to apply throughout the day?

Best of luck to you!

Thank you! We checked multiple times a day (especially from midnight to 1am) for a couple of days and never saw the option. Unfortunately we had to submit with the standard processing so we could get it in time. I'll just add to the list of things I'll forever be salty at UKVI for and move on with how to spend the £800 I just saved as a coping mechanism.

Sorry that super priority didn't work out for you.   Hopefully they'll review your application quickly.

If it's any consolation, super priority was £1000, not £800.

All the best to you.

Oof, I had somehow missed that. It does make me feel a bit better!

Quick (hopefully 😂) question when it comes to document uploads. The application made me say that I'll upload info about both of our jobs (payslips, contract, etc) but we're actually applying category B as neither my husband or I have been at our jobs over 6 months. My husband on his own makes over the salary requirement, but we were also going to upload my payslips since the start of my job on there because we will do what UKVI says. However, now that we're waiting 3-6 months, there's a chance I may be changing jobs again in that time period. If I do change jobs during the process, even though we're just saying to use my husband's job in the cover letter, is that going to throw things off? Will I need to inform them? Should we just not upload anything about my job since we're doing 12 months of payslips for husband and don't need my income anyway?

I would just upload your husband's if his income is sufficient to cover the requirement.  Meet the requirement and it gets ticked off.   Good luck!

I'm coming up to the 3-month mark in 10 days so hoping to hear back with a decision on the wife's ILR.

Hi - in terms of the date rules. For how recent statements have to be - is it from when you START the app?

Eg. When does the clock stop. If I start now, but plan to submit in Oct, do I need statements to Aug or Oct?

Also, did they change it so you can now submit online bank statements? I can’t find one months physical bank statement for the income proof.

Really don't worry.  The opaque-ness of the process makes everyone over-worry. If they need additional info they will contact you.
If you meet the criteria, which you do, then you will receive approval.  The process is lengthy but it is completely robust (and way better than other countries!).  Hang in there!!    Matt

Thank you! That makes me feel better. I think we are just ready to get the dang thing because we want to go to the US for our daughter’s first birthday (we want to do one here for the British family and then one in the US for my family). Her birthday isn’t til January but we are itching lol

3 months and 2 days after the biometrics, I received an email saying my wife's ILR has been successful.

I didn't think that this day would come - but it has, I feel so emotional. It's been a long, hard road, but the amazing people on here have made this process that little easier.

I don't want to thank a few people, I want to thank every member on this forum. But special thanks go to @ksand24 & @larrabee - the advice and time taken from your personal life to assist is appreciated on a massive magnitude. Heroes, all of you.

As @mbmoffat says, if the paperwork is all correct and you follow the guidelines, it's hard for that application not to be successful.

Time to save up a little and then decide whether to apply for citizenship before the end of the year, I might just do it! Hopefully, it'll be a great anniversary present for the wife in December!

Thanks again - ILR is done and dusted, woohoo!  ;D
