ILR Correspondence Question
« on: May 29, 2022, 09:15:24 AM »
Hi everyone,

I'm preparing for my ILR application and have a few questions about the corespondence part. Thanks for your time in advance, this is still a very confusing process🤔😆!

I started on a fiancee visa so my first settlement track visa was with FLR which ran from January 2018 until July 2020.
I applied for my second FLR in June 2020 and it was eventually approved on/is valid from October 2020 until May 2023.
I will be applying for ILR around the end of December 2022/start of January 2023 as I will hit my 5 year period at that point.

But since my period of time between the FLR validity and applying for ILR is less than 2.5 years I just wanted some clarification on what I should put in the correspondence section. Looking at some past examples I've seen, it seems better to include 7 periods rather than 6. Would the below date periods look acceptable on the basis of a December 2022/January 2023 application?

- June 2020: 2 individual bank statements - accounts have since been closed; is this an issue as it's all we have from that hectic early lockdown period? (this is from before the current FLR starting range but covers a full 2.5 years range based on planned application date)
- November 2020: HMRC letter individually addressed for applicant and sponsor
- April 2021: NHS letter/utilities letter individually addressed to applicant and sponsor
- September 2021: Joint bank statement
- February 2022:  Joint bank statement
- July 2022:  Joint bank statement
- December 2022: Joint utilities bill
