ILR - Payslips and financial statement
« on: September 23, 2022, 08:54:22 PM »
Hi all,

I'm about to prepare for my ILR (time flies!) and I have a question about my payslips and financial statement.
- My payslips are all in digital format and I remember when I did my FLR(M) , I provided original document. Could I print out the digital format and ask my employers to confirm the legitimacy in a company letterhead?
- Do I still need the bank to stamp the 7 months financial statements that is printed out in the branch? I also see in the thread posted by MBMoffat (Thanks for the comprehensive guidelines) that cashing saving is optional but recommended. The total amount of my ISA savings reaches that amount, but not for a full 6 months so guessing I'm just going to include my P60 and job contract, hopefully that wouldn't be an issue!
- Lastly, I just realized I could have applied for my ILR in July (I landed last week of June 2017)! I was waiting for 28 days before my BRP expires, in November, but o well I just need to pay for super priority :(

1- Yes, you need to provide a letter of authentication to go with the online payslips.

2- If they are printed in branch, it should say so on them so no need to have them stamped also. But if it doesn't say printed in branch on them, I would get them stamped on every page.

3- If you haven't held your savings for 6 full months at the qualifying level or above, you don't qualify for that route and should go with your employment income instead.

4-It doesn't matter if a decision has not been made by the time your BRP expires because as long as you have made a valid, in time application, your current rights are protected.

5- Have you passed your life in the UK test?

One more question, I remember that I needed to get my statements stamped for my flr(m)  and assuming that hasn't change., is there any dates concern? Example: I'm going to apply on 11th of Oct. Let's say I print my past 6 months tomorrow with tomorrow's stamp and print out the remaining 1 month in October with a Oct timestamp. Would that be okay?

The moet recent date of the payslips and bank statements the date of the employer letter must all be within the 28 days before the date of the online application.
The bank statements and pay slips must cover the same 6 month period so most people include 7 months of each to make sure that is the case.
