Given wrong visa conditions (Unmarried partner visa)
« on: October 05, 2022, 02:06:46 PM »
Hi all!
I had the recent misfortune of losing my BRP and having to replace it. Submitted form to notify them its been lost, put on the application form to get it replaced that it was a family visa, didnt have my BRP number on there so didnt place it, all other details correct. Took a week to approve and about another for my BRP to arrive.

I have been on a unmarried partner visa from within the UK since last February, and was on a student visa before this. For some reason, they decided to put me back on the student visa, and it has the same end date as my last BRP that was a family visa. I've reported it on this form https://www.biometric-residence-permit.service.gov.uk/correct-mistakes/location, which I assume is correct, as well as contacted my MP and complained about this.

Is there anything else I need to do? Are my current leave conditions affected at all due to this error? I assume not, I work FT so dont want to break conditions even though its an error on their end
Thanks for any help
