Woodland Trust- Free Trees for Schools and Communities.
« on: November 23, 2022, 06:54:57 AM »
In case anyone is interested, the woodland trust is giving away trees to communities.  :)

We want to make sure everybody in the UK has the chance to plant a tree. So we’re giving away hundreds of thousands of trees to schools and communities. Together, we'll get millions more trees in the ground

Thanks for posting, it’s good to know.

I volunteer at a free-to-enter English Heritage site and last year we planted a load of trees then spent all year trying to keep them alive through the dry weather. We lost about half of them but will plant more this year.
