Returning here after some years away, as I'm finally going for citizenship (ILR granted in 2017). I passed my LIUK test yesterday and started on the online form today, but was flummoxed by a few questions. I did a scan to see if these have already been covered but may have missed things--please feel free to direct me to older answers if they are there!
1) One question asks, "do you have any dependants not applying with you at this time"? I ticked yes (two children with dual UK/US citizenship) and it didn't ask me for their details, just asked me a follow up question ("Have any of these non-applying dependants been convicted of an offence or received a court order?"). I wasn't sure if they meant dependants subject to immigration control?
2) The guidance for the form suggests that I won't need to send my passport and BRP if I'm doing the online form, but in the intial section it doesn't mention anything about scanning either. Is there a guide to the questions and requests that appear as you work through the form? I need to travel in June so not sure about being without my passport for up to 6 months.
Those were the only things I wasn't quite sure about but I'm not that deep into the form yet.
