ILR Super Priority and UKVCAS Appointments!
« on: March 31, 2023, 10:15:59 AM »
We’re in a bit of a pickle now, not sure how we can expedite this.

So context.

Current BRP expiry date: 22nd April 2023

1. Submitted SET(M) Form and paid for Super Priority (£3204) today (31st March)

2. Earliest appointments showing on UKVCAS (either paid or free) is around end of April.

3. My wife is expected to travel for work around mid april.

What is absolutely infuriating me right now is we’ve paid for super priority yet there are no appointments? I don’t understand why would you expect someone to pay Super Priority and then not have any appointments available for over a month!

My question therefore is, is she able to travel at the moment and return back to the UK prior to her current BRP expiry? (even though she has submitted her application online, but has not been able to get her biometrics appt)

Can she travel, come back and then figure out her biometrics appt?

Thanks!!

Are there any appointments at service centres that aren't near you? Because I'm afraid she won't be able to leave the country while it's pending. At least not from what I've read on here, her leaving the country would invalidate the application and you'd have to start over. But I could be mistaken?

I would try to see if you can find one at a location that isn't near you. Ours is tomorrow, and we're traveling a couple of hours since the one closest to us wasn't going to have a spot for almost 2 months.

Good luck and hopefully I'm wrong!
