Nan is right, Facebook is better for those type of posts.  If you want to talk about your interactions with people and the UK / US differences, plenty of people here will be happy to have a chat.  If we want to argue about 15 minute city conspiracy theories and wokeness, there's plenty of other places to choose from.

Point Taken.  I thought the Thomas Paine connection with America may generate some interest.  I got it wrong---sorry.
