Thanks Tami! So…..what are you waiting for??

I'm a master procrastinator.  Lol. I have to look at a piece of paper to find my divorce date from my first marriage, which required me to walk up the stairs.

Maybe I should just pull up my application when I'm up stairs so I don't keep encountering these perceived inconveniences.

I think also since I don't have a deadline date like with the visas, it is easier for me to put it off another day.

Many congrats and many thanks for your helpful tips. You've been very generous with your time and experience. I just read that the passport office has really shortened turnaround times. Let's hope you shiny new passport arrives very soon!

Hey Rick, sorry to jump on your celebratory thread to ask a question about your successful application. But you are so responsive and have recently gone through it so I am hoping you will forgive this intrusion.

On the main citizenship guidance thread, someone asked a question regarding a family consent form. Ksand24 said that if there was not a link for it in the application, then it was not needed. The OP responded that there was no link but that it was in the main guidance by mbmoffat. I looked, and it is (along with the referee forms).

So my question is - did you submit a family consent form? And if so, did you have your referees sign one as well as your spouse????

Thanks in advance for the help.

No family consent form was needed. Is it just you applying?

Unfortunately, that thread does not address the categories to put things in. :-(

haha. No, its fine. I actually just realised that my last response to you was what I was meant to respond in the other thread that we are communicating in. lol.

In this thread, I asked about the family consent. And you said that the family consent was not necessary. The question someone else had was that mbmoffat's thread listed the family consent along with the referee forms in the numbered section describing the process. But then in the list of required documents, it was not present. So I was just wondering if you actually submitted one.
