Confirmation of Fee Increase

This is very sneaky but looks like the Home Office have published the new visa fees and an implementation date. Starting from the 4th of October.  As expected, it's more or less 20-25% increase across all categories. These do not include the new IHS charges which are due to be implemented later this year. We have just had our ILR approved and on the back of this news, will be applying for naturalization this weekend!

There is nothing "sneaky" about it as it's not unexpected. The government stated ages ago that to fund the pay rises for Public Sector staff, they need to find the money from somewhere and they will not bring in tax rises as that would fuel inflation again: they stated money would have to come form somewhere and that part of that will be the visa fee rises.

The IHS rise in Autumn will be to partly fund the NHS staff pay rises.
