ILR - correspondence requirement
« on: November 06, 2023, 07:52:34 PM »
Hi! Would someone be able to do a quick sense check of the correspondence I have gathered for my husband's application for ILR Set (M)?

We are planning to apply in the next two weeks, i.e. by 21 November (as that would be 28 days after my last paycheck so need to apply before then).

Mail:
  • - October 2023: Aegon pensions statement for me, Barclays statement for him

    - May 2023: Amex statement for me, NHS letter for him

    - December 2022: Joint addressees, Energycentric utilities bill (NB EnergyCentric is a utilities 'consultant' that managed the utilities invoicing for my old apartment block - do you think this will be accepted? I could switch this for a joint Lloyds statement if that would be safer, just trying to get variety!)

    - July 2022: Thames Water invoice for me, Barclays statement for him

    - February 2022: Joint addressees, joint Lloyds bank account statement

    - September 2021: Joint addressees, joint Lloyds bank account statement

    - April 2021: Lloyds statement for me, Scottish Power statement for him.

I also have our most recent council tax bill from March this year.

Thank you so much in advance if someone can take a quick look!

Bumping with a specific question in case anyone is able to give their views - will correspondence from my pension provider and a utilities management company (as above) be accepted by UKVI?  Has anyone provided correspondence like this with an application before?

Your spacing is great and you have more than enough sources, you only need 3.

I think the ones you are questioning would be ok but if you're at all worried, just go with the bank statement instead. More variety isn't necessary.

One more question if I may - we only moved to our house in February so I haven't received an annual mortgage statement yet for the accommodation evidence.  I asked Natwest for an ad hoc statement, which they've emailed to me. Is that going to be ok, or will it not be seen as an 'original copy' for these purposes as they emailed it to me (rather than sending it via mail)?
