Seems odd that the Super Priority option would be displayed during the day if it wasn't a requirement to submit documents and obtain the appointment at the same time (presumably after midnight)?
You don't book an appointment when you submit the documents. All you do is add the payment for the priority service, which will be applied to your appointment when you attend it. You book the appointment at a later time, after submitting the application.
The new Super Priority payment slots are released each night at midnight. They usually sell out immediately as there aren't that many available, which means that if you want to get one, you usually have to log in at exactly midnight and add it quickly.
However, Super Priority slots will be available to purchase until they sell out each day... so if you happen to see it offered during the day, then you can submit and pay during the day... you don't have to wait until midnight. Doing it at midnight simply gives you the best chance of getting one before they sell out.
The process is:
Submitting the Application- when you are ready to submit the online application, go to the payment page
- if Super Priority is given as an option, then select it and submit and pay for the visa
- if Super Priority is NOT given as an option, and it only gives Standard Processing, exit the application without paying and try again another time (Super Priority slots are released at midnight each night)... just keep trying until Super Priority appears as an option on the payment page.
After Application SubmissionBooking Biometrics- After submitting and paying for the application, wait for an email with a registration code for the UKVCAS website to arrive
- Use this code to register an account with UKVCAS and log in
- Book a biometrics appointment - depending on what's available, you may need to pay for an appointment. Free appointments are released at 9am each day. Paid appointments are released at midnight. You can also pay for extra services when you book, such as document checking and document scanning
Uploading Documents- If you will be uploading the documents yourself, you have until 2 days before your biometrics appointment to upload your documents to the UKVCAS website. The 2-day deadline is to give enough time for document checking before the appointment. If you leave it to less than 2 days before, the 'Submit' button will disappear and your uploaded documents will be automatically submitted after your appointment.
- if you have paid for Document Scanning, instead of uploading your documents, you take them to the appointment with you and they will scan and upload them for you.
Attending Biometrics Appointment- on the day of your biometrics appointment, you attend the UKVCAS centre with your passport, BRP, and documents (we recommend taking them with you, even if you have already uploaded, in case anything needs to be rescanned)
- after the appointment, if you are using Super Priority, you should get a visa decision by email by the end of the next working day, though it's usually within a few hours.
