wanted to say hello
« on: January 17, 2005, 01:38:06 AM »
Hi,
I am considering taking a  job in healthcare in the UK; more than likely in or around London.  I would probably move in June or July and would be coming alone. I'm looking forward to getting information from this site to help me make a decision.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated in any area.  Thanks!

Welcome to UKY.  You'll find lots of helpful info on this site -- about moving, working, where to live, and adjusting to life in general.
Good luck to you.

Welcome to the site - it was very helpful when I made my move this past summer.  There's quite a few people from the greater London area to help with any questions about the area...have fun with the research!

Hi,

welcome.  I'm a nurse working over here.  If I can be of help let me know.  I spent 2 years working in London, but have moved on to Scotland now.  Good luck with your move.  This site can give you tons of advice.  I've been here for 4 years and have learned tons since finding it.
