A couple of ILR Questions
« on: July 18, 2024, 12:55:29 AM »
Well it’s that time where I show back up to this lovely website for a bit of help!

I’m just starting to get everything prepared for my ILR application. It seems the evidence is pretty much the same as the FLR applications we’ve already done. However two things have changed in our life so just want to confirm how these need to be addressed in our application.

1. We had a child in February- born here in the UK. Searching on here it seems I will need to include his birth certificate and a piece of correspondence in his name dated within the past three months. Am I correct in that is all that is needed?
(Also maybe silly but can any one tell me how to get correspondence for a four month old? All I’ve ever received is his gp registration and hospital discharge letters which are now outside the 3 month window. He’s not registered with a nursery yet so nothing there.)

2. My husband was recently promoted at his place of work and went from receiving hourly pay to a salary. Because this change will show within those 7 months of payslips how do I need to address this?

As always many thanks in advance for the help!!

Bump?

I got a signed and dated letter from the GP to confirm my son’s address for £25 so hopefully that does the job

Just wondering if anyone can provide clarification about the change in my husbands pay from hourly to salaried. On another sub someone told me it’s fine as long as both of them meet the income requirement (they do) but I trust this sub much more.

Thanks!
