ILR Still in Limbo from March
« on: September 27, 2024, 12:46:23 AM »
I applied for ILR in March and at the end of August, received an email saying my application required further action from the UKVI, though I was not told to turn anything else in. There should be no reason to deny me, especially since I have a British child.

But I’m now petrified as the days tick by. I’m also in limbo for nearly two years on another application (not related to this!), so this is freaking me out.

Having a British citizen child does not grant that parent ILR or British citizenship. You just need to wait.

Is there anything in your past that the Home Office might know about and could be causing the delay?
