Can I do the referees digitally by chance? Send through email to them? And upload to my documents? As they aren’t close by to do so.

I believe the declarations need to have your photo attached and then be signed by hand, but you could email the form for them to print and sign, or print it yourself and then post it to them, with the photo included in the envelope, so they can sign it... and then they could scan the signed copy and email it to you (or post it back).

Just address it: To Whom It May Concern

It only needs to be a couple of sentences long, simply explaining that you didn't realise your original referee couldn't be used because they work for the Home Office, so you are now submitting a different referee instead, and then you can add the personal details of that referee.

My second referee had her name changed on a deed poll but her passport and license she hasn’t changed her name over. She also signed her new first name on the declaration document along with her old name as her middle. Her original name is what I used on the application. Do I need to explain this in the letter as well? As she signed it with the new name. Thank you

Curious about this as I’ve done my life in uk test a few years ago now but only have a number through email that I passed for it and I see not on my check list asking for a qualification. I did apply it on my application. Are we suppose to have received it on paperwork ?
