So in England you have the option to choose where you go?  If I understood correctly, in Scotland we had to go to whatever NHS center was assigned to our postal code.

While that is true, it’s not true for breast cancer because of the dedicated Lancashire Breast Unit, which is available for any women (or man, for that matter) if you live in the Lancashire area.

Any other cancer, I’d be sent to Rosemere Cancer Unit in Preston.
