which airport in DC did you fly into?

For jetlag--there is a scientific study that says taping a flashlight onto both of your legs so they are shining at the back of your knees during the daytime hours of the place you are going, while on the flight, actually works.  Something to do with your body recognizing the light as day time.  I  don't know why the back of your knees, and I have never tried it.

Are you still traveling?

Into Dulles.

We got back on Monday, left again on Wednesday and I'm now (Thursday morning) on Guernsey after a 7 hour ferry crossing.  Will write that up when I get a moment ;-)

Sounds like Dulles got there act together, then.  (we always fly out of there, but the last 2 times were a nightmare at security.)

have a good time, I had to look up where Guernsey is, so I already learned something today!

I used to work out of Dulles. Even ten years ago their security was pretty tight. I remember one lady said to an agent "Its not like I have a bomb in my bag" She was whisked away by the poice nearly instantly.

Pebbles,

The ironic thing is that people still occasionally joke about having a bomb in their luggage, even to this day. Idiots!

We flew into Dulles, as well. We've also been through BWI. I've been through National (or Ronald Reagan National Airport, as everyone NOT from the D.C. area calls it). I wish National would switch to "International"--Dulles and BWI are relatively remote from the heart of the D.C. metropolitan area.
