Little boys and hand lotion
« on: January 26, 2005, 05:15:30 PM »
No, it's not what you think!   :P

Anyone else with a little 'un that is fascinated with hand lotion?  Every time I put on hand lotion, Niall simply must have some too.  Then he spends the rest of the day smelling of Victoria's Secret Vanilla Lace!

How old is he? My three year old wants to try everything I do. I likes to play with my make up brushes and tries to get into my mascara and stuff. Today he ate toothpaste.  :P

He's just turned two, Pebbles.  I suspect if I wore make up, he's be into that too.

My daughter (21 months) wants some of everything I use, but it all ends up in her hair.  I found her with my Fresh Cotton hand lotion from bath&body works, she had put almost half of it in her hair.  She still smelled like it after a bath!

Aillidh, 19 months, also wants some of all my products.  She had this lovely starflower creme, but she tries to eat it!  She'll pat some of it on her body and say, 'Aaaahhh', cuz I tell her, 'Aahh, so refreshing!' when I put it on her.  Then she raised her hand to her mouth!  I have to act quickly to get it all off her hand.

She loves to sniff e/thing as well.

My little man says ahhhh when we brush his teeth.  That's how I get him to open his mouth.  So just before bed, he'll say ahhhh and point to his mouth, meaning it's time to brush his teeth.

I can't wait for the first time a doc tells him to say ahhh.  Niall will expect his teeth to be brushed.   :D

I've never met a boy who didn't like hand lotion.  But that's just me.  :::::flee::::::
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

Sometimes, it's very, very hard not to giggle when they do something naughty.

Yep, like the time my kids thought the kitty needed a bath so they snuck him in the tub with them.  They were having a bubble bath....I've never seen a sadder looking kitty!!!  I tried to look serious when I told them they musn't do that again, I really tried!!!
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.
