Breast Cancer

Okay I also have found this site which may be of some use to those folks out there with family histories of breast cancer.

http://www.screeningservices.org/btw/fh01/

The NHS is proposing a trial with a cohort of 10,000 women under the age of 50 so this might be something people can get involved with if they are worried about not having screens/mammograms under the age of 50 in the UK.

Yes,  thank you for that link!  I have breast cancer on both sides of the family, I may be able to take advantage of the service!

You know, I was thinking just recently about preventative medicine in a nationalized healthcare system.  It seems it would be in the best interest of the government to promote/have the best standards for prevention when they are footing the bill for the treatment.
