Good vibes are winging their way to you along with a top tip (well, it worked for me, anyway) .....
I was desparate for a particular job a couple of years back. It was a job that would allow me to change career and I wanted that job sooooo desparately. The interview went well, but I didn't hear anything by the end of the week (as promised), so I called my interviewers and told them that I was really impressed with the company and felt that I would be ideally suited to the job, etc etc ..... try not to go over the top though!! ... I got the job and have successfully changed careers.
If your job is to be a problem solver for a Housing Association, I would have though persistence and dogged determination are two qualities in high demand. So, give it a go!
Good luck
