Day Spas in NYC, LI or CT

Hi all, well, I know not a lot of people will be able to answer this question, but I figured I would ask. 

While visiting NYC in March my mother would like to book a day spa for her, my sister and I.  Does anyone know of any good day spas that I can look at in NYC or close by?  Thank you!

Why don't you do an Elizabeth Arden day?  Or are you looking for something even more special?

Oh wow, there is also one on LI near my parents!  And they have pretty good packages.  I'll tell my mother thanks!!!  If anyone knows of any others I welcome them!  I need to give her a list!!!!

Got to be "Bliss"- one of the best spas EVER haven't been for years and it was awesome THEN enjoy your day wherever you go (Bliss is also in London so if you fell in love with anything in particular you could get it here)

My sister hates Bliss (A friend reviewed it and said it was the worst spa in NYC, I loved it so don't ask me!!!)

My new favorite places to go in the city are Korean day spas... Oh man, do you get pampered there and they do everything just right. JUVENEX is awesome-- its open 24/7. Its on 25 w32nd #646.733.1330 {area code still kicks me!}   They have a huge beautiful stone-like sauna and a steam room that reminds me of an igloo. Got a nice massage, cucumber facial. They leave you with a fruit snack at the end too, yum!

One of my friends went to another Korean day spa called SPADIUM {49 w32nd #967.3131} They have homemade herbal facials, full body milk rinses. Its family owned- they treat you like platinum.

Janiette Day Spa is very laid-back. {58 13th St near Broadway #529.1616} Specializes in massages--- Oh! They have this incredible four hand massage>> one starts at the head, the other at the feet. I think 90 minutes was $100... soooooooo worth it!  http://jeniette.com/

A bit pricey but a treat for me is the Valente Amethyst Hot Chakra Treatment  at Gloss Day Spa. The amethyst is heated up and then they place it on all seven of the bodys energy spots.
