KCG- I adore San Diego, especially North County. I miss surfing there.
Bruce- Thanks for your comments. Though I am a bit confused; is the UK actually a third world country??
I am quite independent and rarely ask for help (although my stubborn self PROBABLY should sometimes!) so I am confident that I will do well over there. I'm not expecting anything so if something good comes from it, I will be pleasantly happy and surprised.
My girl-friend from Minnesota just moved to the UK with her boyfriend. She said the same things you mentioned- people ask the same dumb-ass questions over and over, they think you represent the exact thought of the US government, no one will help you with much- fend yourself attitutude. She also has a hard time making English girl-friends, from what I was told. Hmmm.... Of course, I do not want to mesh all UK people into these comments- just like I hate people from other countries meshing all Americans together as the same. Fortunatly, the people I met at Disney from the UK (over 100 people, ages 20-30) were intelligent, thoughtful, educated and very fun and open. I enjoyed their company very much and learned alot about the UK cultures and ways. being with them is one of the reasons why I want to live in the UK for awhile. Also, I want to be with my baby

,holiday in other European countries and stay in touch with my friends from Disney from the Continent (Germany, Norway, Italy, France and Belgium mainly.)
As a general update: I am applying for a UK University. I have already exchanged several emails with the Admissions Dept and I am waiting for my official college transcript to be mailed to me so I can fax that and my resume to the Admissions Dept. If I get accepted, I can move to the UK in September and stay as long as it takes for me to finish a degree there. If that does not pan out, I will have to wait until late December and I can get the BUNAC 6-month working visa. Pray for me!
My baby will be here Sunday. Oh, I am so very happy....
