I haven't had the best experience either. In 2003, DH sent his documents to me via
what he thought was FEDEX. Turns out the idiots at the post office had no idea how to handle that and decided to just send it via Parcel Force (with some sort of additional "premium" service or something). The documents were promised for 22 September and didn't arrive until 25 September. Now, granted, that was only three days, but our wedding was 27 September and we HAD to get the marriage license on the 26th! ACK!

And yep, we went through the "tracking number" fiasco (as mentioned in some other threads). There's a number, but it's useless outside of the UK. We ended up calling the airports in NYC to try to find the package. Stress!
