Evidence of contact

I did the e-fasttrack today, and it asked when I had last seen my fiance, which was February 7.  And if we'd kept in touch since then, and I answered yes, with daily letters and phone calls.

The printout of requirements asked for evidence of contact.  I assume they mean over the course of the relationship, not since February 8?  After all, the phone bill hasn't arrived yet, and I just today got the first of the letters that he mailed since I left.  (My valentine's card! And it arrived on Valentine's Day!  )

I have a handful of photos, boarding passes, hotel receipts, phone bills, and scads and scads of letters.  However, I'd prefer not to send any of the letters, as they contain a lot of personal information.  Would it be okay to just send the postmarked envelopes?

Any advice?

The Valentine's Day card is sufficient.  If you really *must* include correspondence, select an email or letter that says absolutely nothing, just drivel.  Max of two.  Some photos, passport stamps, phone bills, and a few receipts will carry the application.  Giving them postmarked envelopes with nothing inside is a poor idea.

I realize that the British consulates in places like Almaty and Manila will not accept correspondence unless you include the postmarked envelope it came in.  But they are not as draconian as that for US/UK couples.

Do you mean ha-ha funny?  Or hmmmm  funny?

Haha funny I don't mind.  But hmmmm funny worries me.  We've never had a marriage ceremony, but we already think of ourselves as husband and wife.

Would I be better off just leaving it out and only including the phone bills, photos, receipts, and passport stamps? 

And how much is too much?  I also have the letter from the registrar confirming our wedding date, so it should be pretty clear that we are serious.

It is not a problem with the fact that the Valentine's card says "Dear Wife".  Really and truly.  He sent it, you received it; and it is an expression of shared sentiment between you.   It's really not something to worry about. 

They might get antsy if it said "Dear Sis"   

And yes, your letter from the Registry Office gets included.
