Jeez.  Our old flat, which we sold for £52,000 in 1991, just sold last year for £172,500.  That's nuts. 

I've seen that one before.  There's s/one in this department who is forever moaning about the cost of childcare and how difficult it is for her to juggle part-time work and 'being an artist' w/kids.

Who bought her house in 2003 for . . . £483,000, come to find out.

Yes, I feel very sorry for her indeed.
