« on: February 21, 2005, 07:49:45 PM »
...What's the diff??   was  at my local  Coop..  and found myself looking for  Wax paper.. didn't think I should have  checked  with you guys  first.. WHERE is it?? and  what is it called??  WAS  looking for  that white paper that doesn't stick  to otherwise  sticky foods.. settled for  baking paper..only because if it wass  wrong  it only came  in 5 meters..so I wouldn't have it forever..   does anyone  know  which  or What  is  equal  to wax  paper??

Greaseproof is wax and it varies in quality from store to store... go for a more expensive one as some of the store brands stick like mad.  Baking which is what you bought is like parchment and useful for baking cookies and for things which have some grease in them, but still might stick.  Both are useful in the microwave.  What did you need it for?
