Can I Refill US Prescriptions?

I'm moving to the UK next month and have a prescription with 12 refills. Am I able to get this refilled or do I need to see a doctor there and get a prescription from them?

Here. Bring a copy of your medical records if you can so your doc here in the UK can readily see what your history is. Bear in mind that some US prescrips are not available here and you will have to get their equivalent.

You might want to have this re-scripted by a UK doc so that you pay NHS price for the meds.
