What's up with this apartment?

I've just been browsing real estate websites and getting an idea of housing in the London-area.  And I came across this.  What is up with this apartment??

It sounds totally awesome, and I'm thinking there's got to be something that I'm missing.  I'm hoping someone who's familiar with the area may be able to shed some light on this.  If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

That sounds like Thamesmead or Plumstead or someplace like that....  not a place i would have wanted to live when i lived in London, but maybe it's improved since then? 
Also, Belmarsh prison is down that way... i think it's in Thamesmead.  I dont like living near prisons... something creepy about that.

But i agree with you that the flat looks fab!!  The reasons i listed above would put *me* off, but would not put most other people off, so im not sure why the rent is so cheap.... 

I bet there's no lift in the building! Or it's next to something undesirable.

also check that it has applicances eg Fridge, washing machine
