I just got me a senseo yesterday.  The website above (typicaldutch..) has so many choices.  Which type of pods do people recommend.  I am using the medium roast that came with it and it's a little weak.

I found the medium pods too weak as well, so we buy the dark roast.   Even those arent as strong as i would like them to be, but i think i've got used to it now.   I suppose you could always put 2 pods in, but only push the '1-cup' button... that would make it pretty damn strong!

I also buy 'Rio' pods from a guy on ebay.... they have a slight vanilla taste to them.

I get these

and these

Both are decaf, but really have a strong flavour.  I buy them and have them sent to my parents in the US.  The guy is really nice and has said he would look into shipping to the UK.  they have other flavours that are not decaf.  I would look and pm him about shipping.

See, but I don't need him too.  Only because I go home every few months for my fix.  I can ask though and see what he says.

OK, David wrote back.  He is great!  And the price is not bad either!!!!!  Plus you don't have to use ebay:

Stacey,

We can ship to the UK, though it takes slightly longer.  The cost is $12.99
(any size order) and you'll find this option during the checkout process on
our website www.betterpods.com   :)

Glad to see you back for another order!

That is awesome!!! When he says the cost is $12.99, does he mean that's the shipping cost? Or the cost of the pods?

Shipping cost, cost of the pods are $5.99 each and that is for 14 pods.  (On ebay it's I think $6.29)  It's 12.99 shipping for 1 pckage or 10 (Or more)

I have a question -

Are all pods created equal?  I have a pod brewer from Gevalia and have only used their pods so far, but they are a little spendy.  Can I use other pods with my brewer?  Are they all the same size, I guess is what my question is.

Great!  Thank you!!  I may just order a sample pack and see how it works.  I think Melitta makes the brewers for Gevalia, but not sure.
