My flat hunting search just expanded...
« on: March 22, 2005, 08:08:25 PM »
I just received my housing allowance from the relo company and compared it to a general sampling of available 3 bedroom flats in St. John's Wood and Hampstead....darn London is expensive.  I may have to look elsewhere.

What can you tell me about Virginia Waters?  Is it too suburban?  I know it's convenient to the airport and you get more bang for your buck, but is it too far from central London?  I know the Tube doesn't extend that far west, so does one have to take a surface train and then connect to the Tube?

What can you tell me about TASIS (other than its too expensive)?  How does it compare to ASL?  Any preference?

Thanks for your help.

TASIS is also a good school...I'm biased of course!  Can't tell you about the locations though.  Good luck to you!
