HSMP No-Nos
« on: March 30, 2005, 07:36:07 PM »
Was wondering if anyone has a list of what not to do when applying for the HSMP.  I'm applying on my own (without the help of an interim company) and want to make sure that I dont commit any stupid act that may disqualify me.

Thanks.

I don't think I can really give out any personal advice myself, as I am still waiting in the backlog queue, and so don't know if I have an approval or rejection on my hands.....

Biggest help to me was the www.immigrationboards.com [nofollow] bulletin board for the HSMP.

It's got a lot of comments from people who have succeeded and also those who have failed.

My best advice is to go check it out.    8)

That web site was very very helpful.  There was a lot of advice on how to submit the application and evidence that I hadn't even thought of?  Thanks.
