curry with my neighbours!  :D
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

When you look in the sausage section, look for the 'Taste The Difference' range, in sort of a brown/cream packaging... they have all sorts of interesting flavours.   The 'Sicilian' ones are just like the 'Italian' sausage back in the US (at least the sort we used to get in California.).

Dunno what's on for tonight - but last night I made:

Salmon, mixed veggies with Mediterranean Cous Cous....yum!

Had the left overs for lunch today to save money on buying lunch!

I have some left over salmon and brown rice from the weekend, but not enough for a meal.  I think I'll flake up the fish, add some egg and bread crumbs and the rice and make salmon patties.  Hmmm - sounds like it could be good!!  I love experimental dinners!!

OH my gosh!!!!  This turned out so good!!!  Too bad it was made from resturant left overs so I'll never be able to duplicate it exactly - but it was as good as anything I would get eating out.  Mmmmm!!!

Was lazy tonight.  Did a cream of leek/chicken casserole with mushrooms, mash and steamed veggies.
