Whoo hoo! Now THAT'S a thread!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I forget what was in yours... I should look back over this thread, I think its here somewhere. Last night I put parsley, mint, scallions, lemon juice and olive oil in ours and will be having some for lunch with added golden raisins and chopped tomatoes.  I'd really like to throw in some macadamia nuts as well, but then it would be a bit too calorific for lunch!  :-\\\\

KEWL!!

The salad is so nice with grilled fish or chicken..sometimes I add the left over chicken to the couscous salad (whatever is left over from the first serving) and presto instant chicken salad for lunch the next day.

Cool! I didn't know you had a food blog! :) That sauce I used last night (Fennel and Aprioct Tagine by Pioneers something or other) would've gone perfectly with that couscous, but I just used what I had on hand and it was ok. Next time I will get some dried apricots!

I've got lamb marinating in yoghurt and tandoori spices, gonna make aloo gobi to go next to it and I have some chapatis to finish it off

I barely made curries in the US, but here, its one of my favourite things to make.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Tonight it's rosemary pecan-crusted trout with steamed broccoli and baby potatoes

Last night we had a chicken and cashew nut stir fry in hoisin sauce that was fab.  :)

It sounds so boring...  meatloaf.  But instead of the usual baked potatoes I think we'll be adventurous and have sweet potatoes instead.   ;D

Don't knock the humble meatloaf.  It's a good sturdy meal (and also my fall back when I'm completely out of ideas ;) ).

I am not sure for us... probably a new chicken and goat cheese bake if I can find my recipe book that has the recipe in it.
