Somehow, despite shopping just the other day, we seem to have nothing to eat. That or nothing appeals. I think it's the heat. I just want easy salads and that sort of thing, but we still have lots of wintery-type food in the house. Bring on the cold front!

Meanwhile, if I can't come up with something better, it'll be leftover tuna salad.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I've got some ribs marinating in a homemade spicy BBQ sauce. Haven't decided if I can be arsed with lighting up the grill or not.

Also going to have homemade coleslaw, potato salad, and homemade*cheater*  BBQ baked beans.

We're having chicken jalfrezi with mini naan. And I'm popping some popcorn tonight, too.  :)

Had a late lunch/early dinner at the Applecross Inn
Ate whole Applecross Bay King prawns in garlic butter, with salad and brown bread.  It was really yummy.
We ate outside in the beautiful scenery and in the sun. Awesome.  And half the fun is getting over the The Bealach na Ba and back. Scenery was stunning!!!  :)

shrimp sauteed with white wine, butter, onions, garlic and chopped tomato. Served with lots of bread to mop up the juices and a salad on the side. Pecan pie for afters. :)
