home made (ish) pizza (store-bought crust)
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

And you didn't save any for me?  ;)

Haha, sorry! :) I'm amazed at how much we ate. I thought I made way too much. But sure enough there were only about 2 pieces left by the end of the night!

We had steak and sushi! I made california rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, avocado rolls and cucumber rolls. And wine!

Oh man. I wish DH would try some sushi. He doesn't like rice or fish very much, so I'm afraid I might be out of luck on that one.  :(

Aw. Vincent isn't the HUGEST fan when we go out for sushi. It's overpriced and just doesn't ever fill him up. But he loves it now that I make it, because there is actually enough. :) And it's so cheap!

Sort of a moussaka but with beef mince instead of lamb because the shop had really grotty looking lamb mince.  I've not made it with beef in forever.  I hope it turns out okay.

The lovely weather has decided for us. We are cooking out! I love it because it means Vincent does all the cooking and i just sit in the sun.  8)

Wedding-y food as I'm going to a tasting for the wedding I'm maid of honor in. So, maybe Taco Bell if the food is crap.  ;)

Jealous! I loooove Pad Thai. Haven't had any since I've lived here.  :(

I'm heading off to a local pub for Sunday lunch with a girlfriend and her daughter.  :)

There have got to be Thai restaurants in The Toon!  I know it's a ways from you, but when you go down to see the girlies?  :)

I never knew we had any thai restaurants here! We found one good one and then discovered there were a TON! Do a google search. :) I have hubby addicted to thai food now, when he'd never had it before. It's his favorite!
