tuna melts and asparagus with mock hollandaise
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I've not eaten much substantial in the last week, thanks to a lingering rota/noro/gastroenteritis virus- nasty stuff...  I think most of my dinners have involved toast, crackers, or yoghurt, if anything at all...   I've lost about 10 lbs this week alone.

However, I'm slowly starting to feel better and the only thing I want to eat is a hot fudge Dairy Queen sundae, so that's what I'm aiming to have for dinner!  :P
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I had it. When I was starting to feel better, the only thing that sounded good was McDonalds chicken nuggets and fries!

Mmmm... Dairy Queen. I always thought they were a Southern chain. Hmph! Learn something new every day...  ;) Hope you are feeling better soon.

We're just having jacket potatoes with beans and cheese.

No, an Oreo blizzard!
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

Mmmm. I might have to make a trip to our nearest DQ! I love a Blizzard, too!

I'm not sure at all what we are having tonight. The kids get Trader Joe's pizza but there's not enough for me!

DH is making something with lemon sole and fresh spinach, and we're having white wine.  It surprised me that he is cooking this, because he had something very similar when we were at Rick Stein's restaurant in Padstow (on our recent holiday), following which he got very ill that night.  However, we think he had a bug, and not that Rick Steins fed him bad seafood.

Dh rang the Chinese place but they weren't picking up but since they know us so well, they just rang us back.  I don't know if I'm embarrassed or find it funny.   :-\\\\ :-X
